Started by Danny Hamsley, Hamsley Hardwood quickly gained a reputation for some of the finest domestic hardwoods around. Danny—also known as “Big Words”—was seemingly one with nature and held a seemingly endless knowledge of forestry, tree identification, woodworking, and sawmilling. In September 2022, a tragic accident took Danny’s life.

It is our goal to continue Danny’s legacy and providing the same high quality hardwoods that would bring people far-and-wide to Hamsley Hardwood.
